Note:

  • Ad-Aware Browsing Protection, Ad-Aware Security Toolbar are two program that installed along with Ad-Aware Free Antivirus. You can remove them using Add/Remove program just like the above steps.
  • If you encounter uninstall errors, go check if you have turned off Ad-Aware Free Antivirus before you start the removal. You can right click on its icon on the system tray and click Exit option.

Then open Windows task manager by pressing “Alt + Ctrl + Del” key at the same time, disable all the related processes of Ad-Aware Free Antivirus, see the below screenshot.

    I am excited about this page of instruction to remove all ad-aware files from the computer.
    I am in the process of doing it to my computer. However, I am finding no way to remove the Ad-aware service under the services menu of Windows 7 task manager. Because of its presence, Trend Micro Titanium Max security software cannot proceed with its installation.

    I then download Maxuninstaller and installed it. However, it could not located this which appears in the Task Manager.
    Is there a way out?
