How to Uninstall Comodo Internet Security and All Related Components Completely

If you want to uninstall Comodo Internet Security completely, you need to uninstall three components including:
- COMODO Internet Security (main program)
- Comodo Dragon (COMODO web browser)
- COMODO GeekBuddy (COMODO tech support online chat client)

Step 2:Open Max Uninstaller, select Comodo Internet Security in the right hand list, then click “Run Analysis”
Step 3: After all program files/folders and associated registry entries are scanned out. Click “Complete Uninstall” to start the Comodo Internet Security removal. Click “Yes” to confirm the action.
Step 4: You will be asked to reboot your system, click NO to continue the removal.
Step 5: Wait for the standard uninstall completed. Click “Scan Leftovers”, and Max Uninstaller will conduct a full scan on your computer for program leftover.

Uninstall Comodo Internet Security manually

Step 1: Close the program and other component tool.
- Right click on the Comodo Internet Security icon in the system tray and click Exit.
- Right click on the icon of COMODO GeekBuddy in the system tray and click Exit.
Step 2: Uninstall Comodo Internet Security from Control Panel.
- Click Start button, go to Control Panel
- Select Add/Remove program
- Select to highlight Comodo Internet Security and click “Change” button on the right.
- Click “Next” button in the pop-up setup wizard window.
- Click Remove button to proceed.
- Here comes a prompt telling that you can get Comodo Internet Security pro2012 free for one year, if you simply just want to remove the program, just click “No Thanks” button to continue the removal.
- If you got nothing to tell, click “Send Feedback & Uninstall” button directly.
- Click remove button to start uninstallation
- Click Finish button, when the wizard prompt you to restart. click No cause we have a few other programs need to be uninstalled.
Step 3: Remove the related programs
- Open to Windows Add/Remove program again
- Select Comodo Dragon and click “Change/Remove” button.
- Select “Remove user profile” and click Uninstall button to start the removal.
- Click Finish button.
- Back to Add/Remove program list
- Select COMODO GeekBuddy and click remove button behind.
- Wait for the removal process complete, click close button to finish.
Step 4: After you done with the removal of the three components of Comodo Internet Security, reboot your computer once.
Step 5: delete registry leftovers
- Go to Start > Run
- Type regedit in the run window and press Enter key.
- Click File menu – Export
- In the export range section, select “all”
- Select the location to save the backup file and click save button to create a registry backup, this could help you to avoid problems caused by mistaken operation.
- Back to the registry editor, navigate the registry tree and locate the folder of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
- Right click on the ComodoGroup folder and select Delete in the menu.
- Restart your computer
