How to Uninstall Google Chrome – Download Chrome Perfect Uninstaller

Google Chrome is a one of the popular web browsers developed by Google.inc. Manually uninstall Google Chrome

Part 1:Remove it from Add/Remove program

• First you need to close Google Chrome if it is open.
• Then go to Start > Control Panel
• Click the Add/Remove option in the Control Panel.

(Windows 7/Vista users please click ‘Uninstall a program’ link)

• In the program list, select to highlight Google Chrome and click Remove button.

(Windows 7/Vista users please click the uninstall option that appear after you click Google Chrome)

• In the pop up window, check the option of ‘also delete you browsing data’, if your computer has other browser installed, you can check the second option to change the default browser.

• After you done the selection, click Uninstall button to start the removal.

Note: You can also go to Start > All programs > Google Chrome > Uninstall Google Chrome, this also work as the Add/Remove program.

As I see, the uninstall is a bit wierd, there is no visual uninstall process, and no message show up to tell you the removal is finished, by clicking the Uninstall button, a few second later you’ll see that the shortcut of Google Chrome disappear from your desktop, it that all over? • Go to Start > Search
• Click ‘All files and folders’
• Type in the keyword of ‘Google’ and hit Search button (here I assume that you don’t have any other google products installed or has personal files/documents named ‘google’)

• Right click to delete the leftover files/folder of Google Chrome from the search result.

• Press Windows key and R key together.
• Type in ‘regedit’ and press Enter.

• Navigate the registry editor, locate and delete the registry entries display in the below screen shots

• Close the registry editor and restart the computer.
