2.When the list is completely loaded, scroll over to find Funmoods (and any other unknown program recently installed) or press F key on the keyboard to locate it quickly, click on Uninstall/Change button at the top of the list or double-click the item to start removing it.
And when a window shows up telling you “The uninstallation requires your browsers to be closed during the process. Please make sure your browsers are closed before continuing.”, click on OK. After that, another window will pops up telling you your browser is going to be restarted, you may click on Yes.
Part Two: Uninstall Funmoods from Your Browser (Restore Web Settings)
As I mentioned before, the plug-in has made some alteration on your browser, which you need to undo step by step. Yet before anything happens, you should be aware that some part of the instruction below will wipe out the the browser’s history, favorite items, and account & password records, etc., and they won’t be restored. Uninstall Funmoods from Mozilla Firefox
1.Open Firefox, access the menu by clicking the button (displayed as three horizontal lines) at the upper right corner, and select Add-ons to open the sidebar.
2. The Add-ons contents will be presented like web page, select the Extensions tab, highlight the Funmoods item and click on Remove button appearing at end.
3. To directly reset the default search engine and homepage of Firefox from the toolbar’s website to its own default, download the SearchReset on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ > Install it, and use it to restore the default homepage.
Another Option for Firefox User:
1.Open Firefox, click (menu button) > icon (question mark).
2.Select Troubleshooting Information, and you will see a new page.
3. Hit the Reset Firefox… button. Firefox will close and be reset by itself, after which a window will show up, listing the details imported. You may click on the Finish button, and Firefox will open.
Uninstall Funmoods from Google Chrome
1.Open Google Chrome, click on main menu button displayed as three horizontal lines: , and select the option labeled Settings.
2.The Settings contents will be displayed in a new tab or window (depending on your configuration). Scroll to the bottom, and click on Show advanced settings.
3.The advanced settings will be displayed. Scroll down until you see the Reset browser settings button, and click on it.
4.A pop-up box will show up asking for your confirmation listing the components that will be restored to the default status. You may click on Reset button to finish the restoration job.
Uninstall Funmoods from Internet Explorer
1.Open Internet Explorer, click on icon button (Tools on Windows XP) at the top right, and select Manage add-ons. Select Funmood add-on, and click on Disable all.
2. To undo the change of default search engine of Internet Explorer, click on icon button, select Manage add-ons > click Search Providers under Add-on Types > right-click the one you prefer > hit the Set as default button> Right-click search.conduit.com in the list > click on Remove.
3.To undo the homepage change of Internet Explorer, likewise, click on icon button > select Internet Explore options > click on Use default under the Homepage section in General tab. The original one will be restored.
