3.Uninstall Opera Stable via Control Panel
On Windows 7:
- Hit the Windows key on your keyboard and select the Control Panel in the list. Click on Programs in Control Panel interface, right click the Opera Stable and click on Uninstall to activate its built-in uninstaller.
On Windows 8:
- Right click on the Start icon and click on Control Panel. Click on Programs and Features in Control Panel,highlight the Opera Stable in the list, click on Uninstall and then follow the prompts to remove it.
- Check the box Delete my Opera user data and click on Uninstall to proceed.
- Reboot your system after the uninstall process is finished.
4. Remove Opera Stable leftovers manually
After uninstalling Opera Stable via Control Panel, you can manually detect and clean out its remaining files, folders and registry entries. Try to search the directory for the application and delete all the files in the directory first.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files(86)\Opera and delete this folder if it still exists.
