Regular Steps to Uninstall BitLord on Your PC
Perform the following steps (Apply to both Windows 8 and Windows 10) in Administrative Rights:
Step 1: Make sure BitLord is not running.
1.1 In the bottom-right corner of your screen, check the System Tray. If you see BitLord, right-click on it and select Quit to close the program.
1.2 To make sure nothing related to the program is running in the back ground, press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Del on your keyboard to open the Task Manager. Find and End the processes related to the program.
Step 2: Uninstalll BitLord through its built-in uninstaller.
2.1 Right-click the Start button and select Programs and Features.
2.2 In the list of installed programs, you can find BitLord, Foxit PhantomPDF Business and REACHit, which were bundled in the installer you probably downloaded from the official site. Just uninstall BitLord first by double-clicking it.
2.3 Follow the prompts on the wizard to proceed with the removal and confirm the every step you’re performing.
2.4 Now you can do the same to remove PhantomPDF Business and REACHit, which were installed along with BitLord. Steps should be the same. Then move on to delete their registry entries.
Step 3: Remove the remaining files of Nitro Pro 10.
3.1 Press and hold Windows key + C on your keyboard to open the Charms bar, and select Search, and enter “regedit” to open the Registry Editor.
3.2 (Optional) On the navigator, click File > Export…, type a name for the registry backup copy, and save it to your preferred location.
3.3 Delete these folders (If you have removed BitLord, PhantomPDF Business REACHit via the Programs and Features):
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/bitlord.com
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Foxit Software
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Lenovo
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Foxit Software
3.4 Then on the navigator click Edit > Find…, type “BitLord” in the box to check for other related entries/keys (if they exist), then delete them to completely uninstall BitLord.
3.5 If you haven’t restarted your computer once, restart it now. Then you can check whether the removal was successful.
An Easier Way to Uninstall BitLord

2. Double-click the desktop icon to open it, and you will see BitLord, Foxit PhantomPDF Business and REACHit in the list. Just select BitLord as your target, and hit Run Analysis > Then you see the list of related files with details including their names, locations and sizes.
3. In the list presented, tick all the items displayed belonging to the toolbar, and hit the Complete Uninstall button.
4. A window will show up telling you “Please wait while it initializes the uninstall process.”, after which press Scan Leftovers > and Delete Leftovers at last to completely uninstall BitLord.
After seeing the “Congratulations! The program has been successfully removed…”, you can click “Back to Step1” to refresh programs list, then do the same to remove Foxit PhantomPDF Business and REACHit.
