Step 4: Delete the remanent registry data
Note: This step requires users to modify the Windows registry. • Back to Registry Editor, navigate the registry key branch on the left side by using the “+” or “>” sign.
• Locate the folder of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
• Find out folder named “Infinity Ward” or “Call of Duty“, right click on them and select Delete.
• Locate the folder of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
• Find out folder named “Infinity Ward” or “Call of Duty“, right click on them and select Delete.
• Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.
