How to Remove BlueStacks without Any Leftovers

Designed by an American tech company named BlueStacks, BlueStacks App Player is known as one of the best and most popular Android emulators, and it enables Android applications to run on Windows and OS X operating system.

If you are fed up with too much memory being occupied, slow response, or the popping-up error messages caused by BlueStacks App Player, and finally you decide to remove or reinstall BlueStacks, guess what? You will find things become complicated, cause you won’t be able to clean out BlueStacks from your computer!

On one hand, the first time you install BlueStacks App Application, BlueStacks Notification Center will also be installed automatically on your machine. Just by removing these two programs via Control Panel, you will surprisingly find that so many related cache files, folders and registry entries scattered in your operating system, and definitely it is a tedious task to clean out all those leftovers, even for the proficient computer users. While reinstalling this program, the most common problem users may encounter is the popping-up error message “BlueStacks is already installed on this machine”. Uninstallation problems vary just as the computer environment and operating procedure vary.  Automatically remove BlueStacks without leaving any remnants:

1. Select BlueStacks programs.

Double click to activate Max Uninstaller after completely shutting down any processes related to BlueStacks > select BlueStacks App Player in the list of installed programs > click the Run Analysis button to proceed.

2. Scan for BlueStacks components.

After a few seconds’ scanning, you can review related BlueStacks files, folders and registry entries, and then click the Complete Uninstall button to continue. During the process, continually click Yes in the dialog boxes to confirm BlueStacks uninstall, and then click Scan Leftovers to enter the next step.

3. Perform complete uninstall.

Review the BlueStacks App Player leftovers and Click Delete Leftovers button. Click Yes in the dialogue box and then all BlueStacks App Player leftovers are instantly removed from your computer!

To get rid of BlueStacks Notification Center, you should back to the step one to repeat the same procedure. After that, all BlueStacks programs will be removed completely.

Manually remove BlueStacks from your PC:

In case you want to uninstall BlueStacks by yourself, here’s the manual method provided below to remove BlueStacks via Control Panel.

1. Reboot your computer system into Safe Mode.

• Reboot the computer > tap the F8 key as soon as the Windows’ logo appears > select the regular Safe Mood > press Enter key.

2. Completely shut down BlueStacks background processes.

• Right click anywhere in the bottom bar of your screen > select Task Manager > select all processes belonging to BlueStacks in the Process tab > click End Task to close BlueStacks.

• right click the BlueStacks icon in the bottom right corner and click Quit.

3. Uninstall the BlueStacks from Control Panel.

• Click on Start button in the lower-left corner > select the Control Panel in the list > click on Programs in Control Panel interface > right click BlueStacks App Player and Notification Center and click on Uninstall/Change to remove then.

Notice: if you want to totally get rid of BlueStacks, click No in this dialog box. In case you want to keep your data, then click Yes.

4. Clean out all components connected with BlueStacks.

• 1). Registry entries:
  Right click on the Start icon > click on Search > type “regedit” in the box and press Enter key to activate Windows Registry Editor.

• navigate to:
  HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\ Software
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software
  to see if there is any folder related to BlueStacks. If so, delete it.

• 2). Files or folders:
  Go to：
  My Computer > C:\Program Files (x86)
  My Computer > C:\ProgramData
  > search for these folders named BlueStacks and BlueStacksSetup, right click these folders and click Delete.

Notice: Though you have tried hard to deleted those folders and registry entries mentioned above, you will not be able to completly delete them as you wish, and there may still exsit other leftovers connected with BlueStacks. • After the BlueStacks removal is finished, restart your computer.
