How to Uninstall PhotoJoy from Your Computer – PhotoJoy Removal Tips
PhotoJoy is an interesting free application that will enable you to work with your pictures. It offers an emotional ability for users to create beautiful wallpaper, screensavers with dramatic effects from your pictures. If you like to tweak your images with other professional available software, you might need to uninstall PhotoJoy from your computer.

In normal case, you can uninstall PhotoJoy in two ways: manual and automatic. First, let’s have a look at how to manually uninstall PhotoJoy forcibly.
Manual removal tips
- 1. Close any PhotoJoy programs that you are using and click the Exit from system tray.
- 2. Click the Windows start icon on the left bottom of screen –> Click the “Control Panel.”
- 3. In the control panel window, click “Programs and Features” if you are using Windows Vista or 7. If you are using Windows XP, double click “Add or Remove Programs” in the Control Panel to launch the default uninstaller.
- 4. Find and click PhotoJoy for “Uninstall” and follow the uninstall wizard to finish the removal.
Please note that sometimes, the PhotoJoy default uninstaller fails to uninstalled the whole PhotoJoy elements, you will also need to check your program files folder and Windows Registry to make sure that no relating entries have been left down.
- 5. Back to Start icon on the left bottom of screen –>select Run
- 6. Type in “regedit” to open the Windows Registry Editor
- 7. Delete entries and values with PhotoJoy in the name.
It may be a little difficult for a green PC user. It’s highly recommended to finish the job with the automatic uninstaller introduced below to uninstall PhotoJoy completely and easily.
Automatic Removal tips
Step 1: Download Max Uninstaller here, install it by following the installation wizard.
Step 2:Open Max Uninstaller, select PhotoJoy in the right hand list, then click “Run Analysis”
Step 3: After all program files/folders and associated registry entries are scanned out. Click “Complete Uninstall”; to start the uninstall removal. Click “Yes” to confirm the action.
Step 4: Wait for the standard uninstall completed. Click “Scan Leftovers and Max Uninstaller will conduct a full scan on your computer for program leftover.
Step 5: After the scan finish, click “Delete Leftovers”; and “Yes” button to confirm remove all the leftovers.
Step 6: Max Uninstaller has now fully uninstalled PhotoJoy related files and extensions. Click “OK” to finish, then reboot your system.
By following the on-screen prompts, PhotoJoy will be thoroughly uninstalled from your computer without nothing left in program files or Windows registry. Just with a few of clicks, you can easily uninstall PhotoJoy under the help of Max Uninstaller.
Additional Tips for PhotoJoy Update Errors
During the update of PhotoJoy product, users may receive error message which contains different error code. Such type of error can be caused by various factors, if you encounter similar problem, refer to the below instruction to troubleshot the error.
Sometimes the DNS of your computer is invalid. You need to make sure the DNS is correct.
Solution: Change the DNS by performing the below steps
Click Start menu and click on Run
In the Run box, type in ncpa.cpl (for Windows Vista or 7 users, type the commend directly in the Search bar)
Press Enter key of your keyboard.
Right click on Internet connection and the select Properties.
Double click the option of Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Check the option of ‘Obtain DNS server address automatically’ and click OK to finish.
If you are using Manual DNS Settings, check the option of ‘Use the following DNS Server addresses’, and then type in the DNS provided by your Internet Service Providers
