How to Remove Allin1Convert from Your Web Browser
You may have heard and encountered with a variety of web browser toolbars that are embedded around the address box. The majority of them are not really meeting our need during the daily use, but oppositely make the browser look tanglesome, such as Allin1Convert.
It is usually installed along with some free software when you agree to change your browser homepage to home.ht.ask.com, and set your default search engine to search.tb.ask.com during the installation. After being added to your browser, it will display another search box right below the address bar with several options aside.
Why is it doing that? Because advertisements and sponsored links will be showed in your search results by using it, and search terms will be collected from your search queries, which makes good business sense, but not based on practical engineering.
Although it is not a virus doing no harms to your computer system, as a user, your experience could be influenced while surfing the Internet. You may right-click it to temporarily hide the plug-in every time you open your web browser, if you are patient enough. This page aims at giving some help for those who failed to completely remove Allin1Convert.
