When iTunes is coming as the Apple’s official way of all iOS management, iTools is an option that some iPhone, iPad and iPod users believe in keeping instead. Its features include data migrate, backup and restore, iTools Airplayer, battery master, rintone maker, icon rearranger, file management and image tool. When installing this software, three other programs will be installed along:

• Apple Application Support (32-bit/64-bit)

This software is required by iTunes/iTools. If you get the error message “Apple Application Support was not found”, you will need to fix your iTunes installation.

• Apple Mobile Device Support

This is needed for synchronization between an iPod or iPhone and iTunes/iTools.

Step 2: Remove iTools through its built-in uninstaller.

2.1 Right-click the Start button and select Programs and Features.

2.2 In the list of installed programs, you can find iTools, Apple Application Support (32-bit), Apple Application Support (64-bit) and Apple Mobile Device Support, which were bundled in the installer you probably downloaded from the official site. Just remove iTools first by double-clicking it.

2.3 Follow the prompts on the wizard to proceed with the removal and confirm the every step you’re performing.

2.4 Now you can do the same to remove the bundled programs, which were installed along with iTools. Steps should be the same. Then move on to delete their registry entries.

Step 3: Remove the remaining files.

3.1 Press and hold Windows key + C on your keyboard to open the Charms bar, and select Search, and enter “regedit” to open the Registry Editor.

3.2 (Optional) On the navigator, click File > Export…, type a name for the registry backup copy, and save it to your preferred location.

3.3 Delete these folders:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/ iTools
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ iTools

3.4 Then on the navigator click Edit > Find…, type “iTools” in the box to check for other related entries/keys (if they exist), then delete them to completely remove iTools.

3.5 If you haven’t restarted your computer once, restart it now. Then you can check whether the removal was successful.
