How Do I Remove Keybar Toolbar Once and For All
Keybar Toolbar, developed by Conduit Ltd., is a community toolbar that plugs into popular web browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explore. This toolbar is promoted to show advertisements via the bar itself and will alter the browser’s settings, like default search engine and homepage on purpose to acquire the user’s activity statistics, so technically it’s an advertising-supported program instead of a virus.
The plug-in, in order to sell other free and paid third-party software, is always bundled with them, which can be downloaded from many unofficial sites. Users might be asked to change the homepage and search settings in the process of installation, but generally they don’t pay enough attention and overlook the options. Should the plug-in be uninstalled from computers, the settings will need users to manually revert back.
Based on EULA (End Users License Agreement), the firm will download and install remote updates, and at the meantime collect and store information related to users, such as search queries, favorite sites and account details on their computers, so that the toolbar would know what additional application to recommend or offer more targeted advertising.
That’s why it’s reported as malware by some experts. It loads every time you open your browser, since it is actually built on and distributed adopting the Conduit toolbar. By the time you have had a rough idea of it. If you don’t need it, we suggest removing it early. Simply refer to instruction below to remove Keybar Toolbar once and for all.
