Completely removing McAfee Total Protection in a jiff, I bet that’s what trapped users. But when things got involved in stubborn programs and some antivirus software, it could become very confusing to hit the mark.

I have heard many users are complaining the confusing uninstall of McAfee LiveSafe, some even consider it as a stubborn virus, while it’s not. In fact, the program will not harm your system, except for taking some resource to send you prompt messages from time to time. If this is what you dislike, it’s fine to remove it.

I suppose some users didn’t perform the removal correctly, like simply locating the folder, delete it and empty the Recycling Bin. This won’t work, because when it’s being installed on your computer, related entries were written to the Windows Registry Editor.
